Loans are awarded based on availability of funds.
Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants must:
- You may use an online PDF editor (there are many that are free) to fill out the application, or complete by hand.
- Please include WITH THE APPLICATION and MAIL ALL TOGETHER:
- Official transcript of grades from your last scholastic year.
- High school senior or recent graduate = high school transcript.
- Currently enrolled in college = college transcript.
- Two reference letters – on letterhead and signed (from employer, supervisor, coach, teacher, professor, or clergy).
- One page Biographical Sketch – typed on separate sheet detailing your educational experience thus far, your goals, and how the George W. Wright Loan will help achieve those goals.
- Parents’ or guardians’ information and signatures where indicated on application.
- Answer ALL application questions, sign, and date.
- If any of the above are not received or the application is incomplete, we will be unable to process your application.
- Official transcript of grades from your last scholastic year.
- Applications will be reviewed by the George W. Wright Student Aid Fund Trustees and you will be informed if your loan request is accepted or rejected via U.S. mail.
